I found 'Paradise Patio' in Mesa to be the best pricing and quality I could find. My new flawlessly made cushions fit the chase lounges perfectly, yet I wasn't happy with the color. Gloria, the owner, wanted me to be satisfied, she went through her stock on hand, and we found a color I was happy with. My cushions were redone at NO extra charge to me, customer satisfaction IS her objective!!! He wanted to make things right and was kind enough to take care of the credit card fee and also delivered the chairs himself. Greatly appreciate the good customer service and the fact that the owner was willing to set things right. Let’s just say annoyed and irritated is putting it lightly for how I feel after leaving this furniture store. The gentleman who helped us this morning was very kind, didn’t catch his name but he was super helpful. Unfortunately our item wasn’t in the store so we were informed to come back after they took it out of the warehouse. We arrived later to purchase the two chairs and were given a total price. After my card was charged I noticed the two prices didn’t match. When I questioned the difference, I was informed their credit machine automatically charges a 2.75% fee. The salesman was thinking about how to fix it, when this arrogant guy/possible manager chimed in. He said there are signs that state they have a fee. Mind you, the sign is right under their credit card machine and our salesman took my card and walked over to it. How do you expect your customers to see that sign? I wasn’t even by the desk, which is the only way to see it. There were two opportunities to inform your customer of this fee. Once in the morning when we showed up the first time, and again when you took the card to charge it. You should be informing people before their card is charged in case they want to give you another form of payment. Instead we received an arrogant attitude and not even an apology. We were told to leave and go to a bank, instead of correcting their mess up. What a scummy way to do business!
